Price and Variants
Ducati has launched Streetfighter V2 in two versions in India. Its Standard model is priced at ₹17,50,200 while its more premium Version Streetfighter V2 S costs ₹19,48,900. Both models are available in ex-showroom India and bring a premium appeal to their segment.
Ducati has based it on the Panigale V2 platform, but removing the fairing makes it even more comfortable and upright by road. Ducati has tune it to lightweight, agile and real-world usable performance rather than being over-zealous about power figures.

Design
This bike has just been launched in India in Ducati Red color, giving it a bold and iconic look. Its tank shaping, aggressive front stance and exposed materials give it a pure streetfighter look. The standard version gets Marzocchi’s adjustable front suspension and Kayaba rear suspension.
While Streetfighter V2 S has more premium and fully adjustable setup of Öhlins on both sides. Lithium-ion batteryy has been used in the S variant, due to which its weight remains only 175kg while the standard model weighs 178kg. Light weight makes handling noticeably better.
Engine
Talking about the engine, the 890cc, 90-degree V2 engine in the Streetfighter V2 meets Euro 5+ norms and is also Ducati’s lightest twin-cylinder motor. This engine produces 119bhp of power and 93.3Nm of torque. The torque delivery is so linear that 70% torque is available from just 3,000rpm, making it very responsive in everyday riding.
Ducati has also provided the option of a racing exhaust for track lovers, which can take the power up to 125bhp and also reduces the weight of the bike by about 4.5kg. Its 6-speed gearbox includes the Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system, which makes smooth upshifts and downshifts possible without the clutch.

Ergonomics & Comfort
Its 838mm seat height clearly states that this bike is designed keeping in mind the tall riders. But its tank shape and narrow waist also make it accessible to riders with average height.
