Adventure bike segment is no longer limited to just large and expensive bikes. Demand for such motorcycles is increasing in the global market, which are light, stylish and easy for new riders. With this thinking Benelli has introduced his brand new BKX 125.
This bike is specially designed keeping in mind the young riders of Europe and the A1 license holders. Although its design and hardware are quite strong, its launch in India seems unlikely at the moment.

Launch Details
Benelli has officially unveiled the BKX 125 Adventure Motorcycle. The bike will be available for sale in the UK and other European markets in early 2026. Benelli is currently focusing on mid and high-capacity motorcycles in the Indian market, so this 125cc segment adventure bike reached India, with little hope being considered.

Design
Benelli BKX 125 is designed at the Benelli Style Center in Pesaro, Italy. Its look is like a clean and minimal adventure bike, with more function attention than appearances. The bike’s stance is long and straight, giving it a Proper ADV feel.

LED headlamps are provided at the front, with integrated day-time running lights. This setup is shared with the BKX 125 S, making the bike’s face look quite modern. The brake light at the rear is integrated into the turn indicators itself, which gives it a distinct identity from the crowd.
Frame and Suspension
BKX 125 is designed for light off-road and trail riding. For this, Benelli has used a steel tubular trellis frame, which gives robustness as well as better control.

Suspension is the largest highlight of this bike. Forks of 41mm are found in the front, which are fully adjustable for all three preloads, compression and rebounds. The 180mm front suspension travel and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels make it fully geared towards poor roads and light trails.

Engine & Performance
Benelli BKX 125 features a brand new 125cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine meets Euro5+ emission norms and generates power of 14.7 bhp at 9,500rpm and torque of 12Nm at 7,000rpm. This output is very close to the maximum limit found in the A1 license category.
The focus of performance is more on smooth power delivery and control than high-speed, so that new riders can also handle it easily. From city streets to light off-road trails, this engine promises to be a reliable companion.

Braking, Dimensions and Practicality
BKX 125 has a front disc of 280mm for braking, with a four-piston radial caliper. The rear has a 240mm disc, which comes with a single-piston floating caliper. This setup gives the bike good stopping power, especially on different surfaces.
If it comes to dimensions, the bike seat height is 860mm, making it long and adventure-ready. The ground clearance of 233mm helps the bike to run with confidence even on bad paths. This is accompanied by a 12-liter fuel tank, which can be considered sufficient for both daily use and weekend rides.

India Launch
The design and features of the Benelli BKX 125 are quite attractive, but its launch in the Indian market seems difficult. Benelli is currently focusing on motorcycles of 300cc and above in India. In addition, the segment of the 125cc premium adventure bike is very limited in India right now, making it not considered economically beneficial for the company to launch it.
