Now JSW MG Motor India has launched the 2026 MG Hector Facelift in the Indian market, further strengthening this identity. In the new avatar, Hector has become more bold, more take-loaded and more premium than before. Its initial price is kept at ₹11.99 lakhs to ₹19.49 lakhs, making it firmly in front of strong SUVs like Tata Harrier, Safari, Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio.

New prices and variants
The new MG Hector Facelift has been introduced by the company with introductory pricing for limited units. It can be purchased in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations.
The price of the 1.5-liter Turbo Petrol manual version in the 5-seater Hector starts at ₹11.99 lakhs (Style) to ₹16.79 lakhs (Sharp Pro). At the same time, the 5-seater version with CVT gearbox has been priced from ₹16.29 lakhs to ₹18.99 lakhs (Savvy Pro).

For customers who want to take 7-seater Hector Plus, the Sharp Pro manual price starts at ₹17.29 lakhs. CVT variants go from ₹18.59 lakh to ₹19.49 lakh. This grating strategy makes MG quite competitive in the mid-size SUV segment.
Design
The 2026 MG Hector Facelift gets the first attention on its new design. It now has Aura Hex Grille, which has a bold hexagonal pattern view. This grille gives the SUV more strong and confident look than before.
New Aura Sculpt bumpers are given on both its front and rear sides, making Hector’s stance more muscular. New Aura Bolt alloy wheels have been added to it, which also gives powerful presence to the parked car.
Interiors
MG Hector Facelift has always been known for technology, and this time the company has moved up and over. It now has segment-leading 14-inch HD portrait touchscreen, which comes with Smart Boost technology. This means faster processing, smother animations and more responsive user experience.
The special thing is its first-in-segment i-SWIPE gesture control system, which allows climate control, music and navigation operate through two-finger and three-finger gestures. This experience sounds exactly like a smartphone.

Connected Features and Safety
New Hector offers smart connected features such as digital Bluetooth key, key sharing feature, predictive maintenance alerts and remote AC control. It is accompanied by a full digital instrument cluster, which contains an embedded LCD screen of 17.78 cm.
It features a 360-degree HD camera with Wheel View to make driving easier in parking and tight spaces, which shows tyre-level visibility. This feature proves to be of considerable use in everyday driving.

Engine
2026 MG Hector Facelift features no mechanical changes, and the company has retained the proven powertrains. It comes with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine that generates 141 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is available with both a 6-speed manual and a CVT transmission.
Additionally, there’s a 2.0-liter Stellantis-sourced turbocharged diesel engine that produces 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. This diesel engine is only offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Pricing for the diesel variants has not yet been revealed.
