BSSC 2nd Inter Level Vacancy: The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has increased the number of vacancies for the second Inter Level recruitment 2025. The recruitment drive, which initially targeted 23,175 posts, will now fill 24,492 positions. The application deadline has been extended again. It has now been extended to January 15, 2026. Previously, it was December 15, 2025. The last date for fee submission is January 13, 2026. After the increase in vacancies, 10,753 posts are unreserved. 3407 posts are reserved for SC, 231 for ST, 4185 for Extremely Backward Classes, 2678 for Backward Classes, 811 for Backward Class women, and 2427 posts are reserved for Economically Weaker Sections. Candidates can apply through www.onlinebssc.com.
BSSC Increased Vacancy
BSSC has also extended the application deadline. Candidates can now apply online until January 15, 2026. The last date for submitting the application fee is January 13, 2026. Therefore, those who missed the application deadline can still apply through the official BSSC website.
It is worth noting that out of the total 24,492 vacancies, 10,753 posts are unreserved. The remaining posts are reserved for different categories. This includes 3,407 posts for Scheduled Castes (SC), 231 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 4,185 for Extremely Backward Classes (EBC), 2,678 for Backward Classes (BC), 811 for Backward Class women, and 2,427 posts for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
BSSC Vacancy Eligibility
Candidates applying must have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) from a recognised board. For some posts, candidates must hold an Intermediate qualification and have computer typing skills.

Exam Pattern
– The preliminary exam will be an objective type. The preliminary exam will consist of questions from General Studies, General Science, Mathematics, and Mental Ability. There will be 150 questions in total. The paper will be of 2 hours and 15 minutes duration.
