Indian 2-wheeler manufacturer TVS is soon going to launch a new model of its cheapest bike in the market. This new bike will be TVS Sport. The company has also released its teaser. This shows that now the bike can be launched with new color options. It is expected that there will be a new graphic design along with the new color option. However, due to the changes, there may also be a slight increase in the price of the bike.

The price of TVS Sport currently starts from around 60 thousand and goes up to around 72 thousand rupees. Both prices are ex-showroom. This bike comes in two variants ES and ELS. The only difference between the two is the graphics. Apart from the color scheme, the graphics will also be given on the fuel tank, side panels, and maybe the headlight cowl. The bike was first launched with a 100cc engine, but with the BS6 update in April 2020, TVS updated it with a bigger 110cc engine.
The bike has a powerful engine
The TVS Sport is powered by a 109.7 cc single-cylinder engine, which produces a maximum power of 8.08 bhp at 7,350 rpm and a peak torque output of 8.7 Nm at 4,500 rpm. The gearbox is a 4-speed unit. However, the Sport only gets drum brakes at both ends for braking. It does not have drum brakes. Suspension duty is handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, which get 5-step adjustability for preload. The bike gets a mileage of about 75 to 80 km/l.

The TVS Sport has an analog instrument cluster. Which has a speedometer and fuel gauge. It also has an economometer and power light. It has alloy wheels and tubeless tires. Apart from this, it also has an electric starter. The bike has the option of kick start and self-start. The bike has a total of 5 color options including Black/Red, Red, White/Purple, White/Red, and Grey. In the Indian market, the bike competes with Honda Shine, Hero HF Deluxe, Bajaj Platina, Hero Splendor, and Bajaj CT 110X.
