KTM 390 Adventure Series
All-new for 2025 will be an updated series of 390 Adventures from KTM. Included in this will be the standard 390 Adventure, the more off-road-oriented Adventure X, and the more rugged 390 Adventure R. These motorcycles will get better suspension, with 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, while also giving riding modes like Street, Rain, and Off-Road. This makes it quite modern for its class, but features like cornering ABS, cruise control, and a color TFT with smartphone connectivity are certainly out of its class.
TVS Apache RTX 300
TVS will now be joining the adventure bike segment with its Apache RTX 300. The new bike is expected to come with a 300cc engine producing around 35 PS of power. The bike will feature a 19-inch front wheel, riding modes, a TFT screen, cruise control, and traction control. Thus, this motorcycle will be an interesting option for a well-featured value-for-money Indian ADV bike customer.
CFMoto 450MT
CFMoto is likely returning to the Indian market with the 450MT. This motorcycle comes with a 450cc parallel twin and is built for serious adventure. It has good modern looks, decent ground clearance, and a comfy riding stance. If aggressively priced, it could give the Himalayan 450 and the KTM 390 Adventure a run for their money.
BMW F 450 GS
The new BMW F 450 GS is expected to find its life in India sometime around the end of 2025. It is expected to be a twin-cylinder bike making around 48 PS. This compact ADV could offer an exciting mix of premium performance in the entry-level adventure segment, with spoked wheels, riding modes, and the capability to go off the beaten path.
Royal Enfield Scram 440 and Hero XPulse 421
Royal Enfield is working on the Scram 440, a road-oriented version of the Himalayan 450. It, too, will sport a 443cc engine and relaxed riding dynamics. Hero is also polishing the XPulse 421, a powerful upgrade of the XPulse 200 with improved suspension, frame, and a 421cc engine.
