How to Link Aadhaar to a Mobile Number Without an OTP?
To update or link your mobile number without an OTP, visit your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra, an authorised bank or a post office. You can check the exact location of your nearest centre through the UIDAI appointment portal.
Carry your original Aadhaar card and the new mobile number you want to link. No additional documents are required for this update. At the centre, you will be asked to complete the Aadhaar update form and provide your correct mobile number.
After submitting the form, biometric verification is done using your fingerprint to confirm your identity. This step ensures that your Aadhaar details remain secure. To update the mobile number, a fee of ₹50 applies. Once the payment is made, you will receive an acknowledgement slip, which should be kept safely for future reference.
