Ishan Kishan Century in SMAT 2025: Team India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan scored a century against Tripura in the Group D match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on Sunday. He scored 113 runs in 50 balls with the help of 10 fours and 8 sixes. In the match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Tripura, batting first, scored 182 runs in 20 overs, losing 7 wickets. Thanks to captain Ishan Kishan’s century, Jharkhand achieved the target in 17.3 overs, losing only 2 wickets.

Fantastic century for Ishan Kishan

Earlier, Ishan won the toss and invited Tripura to bat first. Tripura did not have a good start and lost 3 wickets for 41 runs. Opener Bikram Kumar Das’s 42 runs in 29 balls and Vijay Shankar’s 59 runs in 41 balls helped Tripura score 182 runs in 20 overs. For Jharkhand, Vikas Kumar and Anukul Roy took 2 wickets each, while Saurabh Shekhar, Utkarsh Singh and Bal Krishna took 1 wicket each.

Chasing the target of 183 runs, Jharkhand had a bad start. Ishan Kishan and Utkarsh Singh opened the innings. The team’s first wicket fell at 6 runs and Utkarsh was out after scoring 5 runs. After some time, Kumar Kushagra returned to the pavilion after scoring 6 runs.

After this, captain Ishan Kishan and Virat Singh did not let Jharkhand suffer any setback and led the team to victory with 15 balls remaining. Ishan scored a century in 45 balls and remained unbeaten after scoring 113 runs in 50 balls with the help of 10 fours and 8 sixes. Virat Singh also completed his half-century and remained unbeaten after scoring 53 runs in 40 balls.
