28 Express and 16 Passenger Trains Cancelled Till End of February, Passengers in Trouble

Train Cancel Update – Winter makes driving difficult, significantly impacting everyday life. The cold and dense fog is impacting train operations. Many trains have already been cancelled. Once again, due to the dense fog, Indian Railways has completely cancelled 28 express and 16 passenger trains for a few days.

In addition, guidelines have been issued to reduce the frequency of 20 trains. This decision was taken due to poor visibility caused by fog. This decision will be effective from December 1st to February 28th, 2026. After that, all trains will resume running as usual. The list of major trains that have been temporarily suspended can be found below.

14324 New Delhi–Bareilly Intercity
14014 Anand Vihar Terminal–Saharanpur Express
14235 Varanasi–Bareilly Express
15012 Chandausi–Lucknow Express
14311 Alwar–Bareilly Passenger

The decision has been made to reduce the frequency of these trains and run eight pairs of trains on limited days.

12207 Kathgodam–Jammu Tawi (Weekly Tuesday)
Cancelled dates: December 9, 13, 20, and 27; January 3, 10, 17, and 24; February 7, 14, 21, and 28.

12208 Jammu Tawi–Kathgodam (Weekly Sunday)
Cancelled dates: December 7, 14, 21, and 28; January 4, 11, 18, and 25; February 1, 8, 15, and 22.

12209 Kanpur–Kathgodam (Tuesday)
Cancelled dates: December 9, 16, 23, and 30; January 6, 13, 20, and 27; February 3, 10, 17, and 24.

12210 Kathgodam–Kanpur (Monday)
Cancelled dates: December 15, 22, and 29; January 5, 12, 19, and 26; February 2, 9, 16, and 23.

14003 Malda Town–New Delhi (Tuesday and Saturday)
This train will be cancelled on several dates in December, January, and February during the foggy season.

The suspension of passenger train operations will impact daily life.

Working people, students, and daily commuters will face the most inconvenience due to the cancellation of passenger and MEMU trains. The following passenger/MEMU trains in the Moradabad division will be completely cancelled from December 1st to February 28th.

64177–64178 Bareilly–Moradabad–Bareilly

64553–64554 Moradabad–Ghaziabad–Moradabad

54075–54076 Bareilly–Delhi–Bareilly Passenger

The following passenger trains will also be cancelled on the Shahjahanpur–Lucknow, Shahjahanpur–Sitapur, and surrounding routes. The trains that will remain closed include passenger trains 54327, 54328, 54329, 54330, 54331, 54332, 54337, and 54338.
