So today, we’ve brought you a dish that’s both healthy and tasty. This is the Methi Cutlet Recipe, which isn’t too difficult to make. It’s made with fenugreek leaves and can be enjoyed with sauce or chutney.
What ingredients will be required for the Methi Cutlet Recipe?
Fenugreek leaves – 1 cup
Green chilli – 1
Onion – 1
Boiled potatoes – 2-3
Ginger (grated) – 1 teaspoon
Garlic (finely chopped) – 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Carrot – 1, grated
Boiled peas – 1/2 cup
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Maida – 2 tablespoons
Oil – as needed
Breadcrumbs – 1 cup
How is Methi Cutlet made?
Step 1- First, boil the potatoes and peel them. Then, grate them and place them in a pot. Add cumin seeds and chopped green chillies. Add chopped fenugreek leaves, grated carrots, and boiled peas.
Step 2 – Then, add red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, chaat masala, garam masala, and coriander powder. Then, add the chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Step 3- Now heat oil in a pan, then mix flour and water in a bowl to make a batter. Then, transfer the breadcrumbs to a plate.
Step 4- Now take a small portion of this mixture and flatten it into a round shape. Dip it in the flour mixture and coat it in breadcrumbs. Then, add oil to a pan and fry it until the cutlets are crispy and golden brown.
