Another big news is coming out regarding cricket. The ICC has announced the schedule for next year’s World Cup. This has been long awaited. Everyone’s attention was focused on whether India and Pakistan would face each other once again. The ICC has made a big decision regarding this. Although this is the Under-19 ODI World Cup, the India vs. Pakistan match, no matter where it takes place, holds its own excitement.
India and Pakistan are placed in different groups
The ICC has announced the schedule for next year’s Under-19 World Cup. Four groups have been created for this event. Notably, India and Pakistan have been placed in separate groups. This means that at least during the league stage, the two teams will not face each other.
However, the schedule and fixtures have been designed in such a way that there is a high probability that the two teams will meet in the next round. The upcoming World Cup, scheduled for January next year, will be played in Namibia and Zimbabwe. This will be the 16th edition of the tournament.
