Design
Looking at the Tata Sierra EV, it can be said that this SUV is very close to the concept model shown in the 2023 Auto Expo. The company has retained the identity of original Sierra in its design.
This SUV is given a boxy silhouette, which gives it a strong and upright stance. Its wraparound rear glass panel is reminiscent of the 90s classic Sierra, but it is now given even more modern touch from sleek LED light bar and connected DRLs.
The same front has a closed-off grille that gives it a true EV look, as well as flatter bumper, flush-type door handles, and high-set bonnet making it more aerodynamic. At the same time, its wheel design has also been particularly changed compared to the ICE version.
Interior
If you talk about the interior of the Tata Sierra EV, it is as attractive from the inside. It is expected that its cabin layout will be similar to its ICE version, but slightly different tones will be used for EV in colors and materials.
This SUV will include a triple-screen dashboard setup, which will include a digital instrument cluster, large infotainment touchscreen, and climate control display. It will be accompanied by premium features such as dual-zone climate control, twin-spoke steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, and ventilated & powered front seats.
Another interesting point is that a special four-seater “Lounge Edition” of Tata Sierra EV is also expected to come. This variant will feature second-row captain seats, ventilation and recline function, giving this SUV a mini-luxury lounge experience.
Safety and technology
Talking about safety, Sierra EV will be one step ahead not just in appearance, but also in safety and technology. It will be given LEVEL 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), which will include modern facilities such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and forward collision warning.
The SUV will also have features such as multiple airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), hill-hold assist, hill descent control, and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Powertrain
