Ajit Mishra from Panna became the number one candidate
Ajit Mishra from Panna district secured the first position in this year’s MPPSC PCS Examination 2023. He scored 966 out of a total of 1575 marks. Bhuvnesh Kumar secured second place with 941.75 marks, while Yashpal Swarnkar secured third place with 909.25 marks.
This year, a total of 229 candidates were selected for various administrative and state-level services. These include key positions such as SDM, DSP, Tehsildar, and others.
When was the exam held?
The preliminary examination for the MPPSC State Services Examination (MP PCS Exam 2023) was held in December 2023. The main examination was then held from March 11 to 16, 2024.
Candidates who qualified in the main examination were called for the interview round, which was held between July 7 and August 7, 2024. The results were slightly delayed due to controversy surrounding two questions, but the Commission has now released the final results, putting an end to the wait for candidates.

Selection Process and Merit Determination
The MPPSC has prepared the final result based on performance in the main examination and interview. The merit list of candidates has been released based on marks and category-wise cut-off marks. The Commission will soon upload the cut-off marks and final merit list on the website.
