According to the IMD, heavy rain accompanied by lightning is likely in Tiruchirappalli, Krishnagiri, Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur, and Tiruvannamalai. In addition, Dharmapuri, Salem, Kallakurichi, Perambalur, and Ariyalur are likely to experience rain.
