Due to the activation of the northeast monsoon, several states in South and Northeast India are expected to experience thunderstorms and heavy rain in the coming days.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain alerts have been issued in some states, while snowfall alerts have been issued elsewhere. Snowfall in the mountains has intensified the cold in northern Indian states. The Meteorological Department has warned that the impact of a western disturbance will alter the weather in several north Indian states.

Pollution levels remain extremely poor in Delhi-NCR. Despite the cloudy skies, there has been no rain in the last two days. According to the Meteorological Department, clouds will persist for the next two days, accompanied by strong winds, which may bring a slight chill.
Rainfall Warning in Rajasthan
The weather is expected to remain dry in Rajasthan. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, the eastern and western parts of the state may remain partly cloudy, with light rain possible at some places.
Weather Conditions in Bihar
The weather in Bihar is expected to remain clear for the time being. Cold and foggy skies are expected by November 10th. There are signs of a change in the weather, with partly cloudy skies possible in some areas. Currently, no rain is forecast in Bihar.
Jharkhand Weather Forecast
The weather in Jharkhand is expected to remain dry on Friday. A mild chilly breeze will blow in the morning, but temperatures will rise slightly during the day. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may reach around 17 degrees Celsius in the early morning. The sky will remain clear.
Rain alert in These States
According to the Meteorological Department, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh may experience thunderstorms and light rain on November 7th. Snowfall and rain are expected in the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Skymet has issued an alert for heavy rain in the southern and northeastern states.
Rain Alert in Tamil Nadu
An alert has been issued for heavy rain in seven districts of Tamil Nadu. According to the Chennai Meteorological Centre, heavy to heavy rain is likely in Mayiladuthurai, Perambalur, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Ariyalur, and Tiruchirapalli districts on Thursday and Friday.
