Weather Forecast – IMD Warning Heavy Rain Alert in 10 States Next 3-4 Days, Here Full Monsoon Update

Weather Forecast: Most parts of the country are currently experiencing a severe cold wave. Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, and Rajasthan, among other states, are facing intense cold. Dense fog is causing significant difficulties for people. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), an alert has been issued for light to moderate rainfall across Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand from January 15 to 18. In addition to rain, these states may experience snowfall. Rain is also expected in some parts of Punjab on January 17 and 18.

According to the IMD, a severe cold wave is expected to continue for the next 2 to 3 days in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Cold-wave to severe cold-wave conditions are possible across many areas. Dense fog will persist over Northwest India and Bihar for the next 5 days. The meteorological department predicts very dense fog in some parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab until January 14.

Weather in Delhi:
The minimum temperature in Delhi continues to drop. According to the IMD, cold wave conditions may persist in Delhi for the next two days. The cold is expected to intensify in Delhi on January 13.

Heavy Rainfall in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh:
The meteorological department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall in the state for the next three days (January 13-15). In addition to heavy rain, there is a possibility of lightning and strong winds across several districts. Fishermen have been advised to stay away from the sea as heavy rainfall in coastal areas may lead to high waves.

Alerts Issued for These States:
According to the IMD, heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Puducherry over the next 72 hours. Heavy rainfall is also predicted for Rayalaseema, Mahe, Yanam, and Karaikal. The Meteorological Department has predicted that Lakshadweep and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands may experience heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms. Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in some parts of Central Maharashtra.

Weather in Bihar:
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for some districts of Bihar. The department predicts that intense cold conditions will prevail until January 14th in East and West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Gopalganj, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Madhepura, Saharsa, and Purnea.

Weather in Uttar Pradesh:
On January 13th, most cities in Uttar Pradesh are expected to experience severe cold. The Meteorological Department has warned that cold winds will blow in Deoria, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Kanpur, Lucknow, Raebareli, Azamgarh, Mainpuri, Agra, and Mathura, which could increase discomfort for residents.
