According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a rain alert has been issued for various areas of South India. The IMD has predicted 36 hours of inclement weather in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Yemen, and Andhra Pradesh, with strong winds and rain expected.

Rain accompanied by strong winds is expected in Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Arunachal Pradesh. Thunderstorms and rain are possible in parts of Sikkim, Mizoram, and Madhya Pradesh. People have been urged to exercise caution due to the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning.

Weather in Uttar Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures are now dropping in many areas of Uttar Pradesh. The minimum temperature has dropped below 15 degrees Celsius in almost all districts. Temperatures may drop significantly in the next four days. The Meteorological Department has predicted minimum temperatures of up to 15 degrees Celsius in Meerut, Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly, Amethi, and Barabanki. Temperatures are also expected to drop in Ayodhya, Etawah, Kanpur, and Prayagraj.

The IMD has predicted heavy rain in various areas of Tamil Nadu. According to the Meteorological Department Centre in Chennai, a heavy rain alert has been issued for Krishnagiri, Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur, Tiruvannamalai, and Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu until November 8. In addition, heavy rain warnings have been issued for Salem, Kallakurichi, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Dindigul, Madurai, Sivagangai, and Tiruchirapalli.
