Team India’s Test series against South Africa is scheduled to begin on November 14th. Now, the South African captain has revealed that he will use this weapon to attack Team India and try to dismiss their batsmen.
What will be the planning against Team India?
Speaking to the media, Temba Bavuma stated that his team’s spin bowling attack is strong and they will take full advantage of it. He said, “Bowling is our team’s strength. We now have good spin options. We also have Tristan Stubbs. If we need another off-spinner, he can come in and make a difference. You need bowlers who can take 20 wickets. I think we’re very confident in our abilities, and if the situation dictates that spin will be a threat, then we have good resources.”
Indian pitches generally favor spin bowlers. Team India has excellent spin options in Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, and Axar Patel. On the other hand, the South African team has also come fully prepared. They also have three spin bowling options. Keshav Maharaj will be their main bowler. Senuran Muthusamy and Simon Harmer are also part of the team.
Tristan Stubbs also provides a bit of off-spin bowling. Therefore, Team India’s batsmen will need to be cautious and adapt to the spin bowling on Indian soil.
