Monsoon Update: The weather across the country is rapidly changing. Winter is now poised to set in. However, rain is still continuing in many states. The Meteorological Department predicts that this rainy season may continue until this week. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected in some areas of Tamil Nadu until November 8th. Light rain accompanied by thunderstorms is also expected in the Jammu region, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Rainfall is not currently forecast for Delhi. The Meteorological Department predicts that several states in South India may experience heavy rainfall this week. Some areas of Tamil Nadu may experience heavy rainfall until November 6th. Light to moderate rain is expected in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and parts of Rayalaseema. Thunderstorms are also possible here.
Heavy Rain Alert
The Meteorological Department predicts light to moderate rainfall in many parts of Tamil Nadu until November 8th. Heavy rain is also possible at isolated places. Heavy rain is also expected in Rayalaseema from November 6th to 7th, and in coastal and northern interior Karnataka on November 5th.
Light to moderate rainfall is expected in southern interior Karnataka until November 7th. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Saurashtra, Kutch, and Haryana may experience intermittent rainfall over the next 48 hours. Strong winds with speeds of 30-50 kilometres per hour and thunderstorms are also expected in these states.
Weather Conditions in Jharkhand
As the effects of Cyclone Mahina subside, cold weather has begun to set in Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry for the next five days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry throughout the state for the next week. Similar weather will prevail in both the western and eastern parts from November 6 to 10.
