Weather Update Today – The weather is changing in the first week of November. Strong winds are expected in some places, rain in others, and snowfall in the hilly areas. Snowfall in Himachal Pradesh continues to cause temperatures to drop. Winter has now begun. Temperatures have also dropped in Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
On the other hand, a western disturbance has also become active in many parts of North India. Rain in some areas of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand yesterday brought pleasant weather. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for several states. Strong winds are also possible in many areas.
Weather in Delhi NCR on November 4
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is no risk of thunderstorms in Delhi and the surrounding areas. Due to the western disturbance, light clouds are expected. Fog, light smoke, and haze are possible. This could impact air quality.
Rain in these states, including Uttarakhand
The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms and lightning in Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir. Snowfall is also expected on November 4th and 5th. Rainfall is also possible in Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. Travellers have been advised to remain vigilant in view of the thunderstorms and snowfall. Cloudy skies and rain are expected in Punjab and Haryana.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning in Gujarat and Marathwada. Light to moderate rain is expected here for 5 to 7 days. Thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by strong winds are expected in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea due to the risk of gusty winds.
Rainfall in the Northeastern States
The Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm alert in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur. Rain is forecast in Mizoram and Tripura. Rain is also expected in the rest of the Northeast.
