Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
Maruti Suzuki is set to enter the EV market with its first electric SUV, the e-Vitara. It will be launched in December 2025. Production of this SUV has already begun at the company’s Gujarat plant. The e-Vitara will come with two battery options – 49kWh and 61kWh. It will have a driving range of approximately 500 kilometers.

Mahindra XUV700 Electric (XEV 7e)
Mahindra is scheduled to launch its XEV 7e in early 2026. It will be the Electric Version of the XUV700 and is considered India’s first mass-market 7-seater Electric SUV.

It will be built on the INGLO platform and will be found in a futuristic dashboard with triple-screen setup. Its battery will be similar to the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e. The XEV 7e is expected to become the SUV with the most advanced features in the segment.
Mahindra BE Rall-E
Mahindra’s BE Rall-E will be an off-road focused Electric SUV. It is expected to be launched in 2026. This SUV is based on the BE 6 but will feature large tires, off-road bumpers and a strong body look.

This dual-motor will come with all-wheel-drive setup, allowing it to run smoothly on all kinds of paths. If you are fond of adventure, then this SUV is made for you.
Tata Sierra EV
Tata Motors’ iconic SUV Sierra EV may launch in the month of January 2026. It will be brought with the same battery and motor setup as the Tata Harrier EV.

Sierra EV will offer premium interior, advanced technology and long range combination. It will be perfect for those who want to enjoy both luxury and electric power.

Honda 0 Series SUV
Honda’s 0 Series SUV will land in the Premium Electric segment in India. It will have large batteries ranging from 80kWh to 100kWh, giving it range of up to 600km.

Also, another affordable model named Honda 0 Alpha will also be introduced in 2027, which will come with a 65kWh to 75kWh battery pack. This SUV will directly compete cars like Maruti e Vitara, Mahindra BE 6 and Hyundai Creta EV.
