How to do FASTag KYV, Complete Process – Drivers often face traffic jams at toll plazas. The National Highways Authority of India is simplifying the process to avoid waiting in queues. Sometimes, queues of vehicles form at toll plazas. If your vehicle stops in front of the camera, a sudden beeping sound is heard.
Not only this, the employee sitting in the toll plaza cabin informs you that your FASTag has become inactive. This is often because your FASTag’s KYV has not been updated. To avoid such problems, you can update your KYV. Once this is done, the FASTag will continue to work. This means you won’t have to wait in long queues at toll plazas.
KYV Process Made Much Easier
To provide relief to FASTag users, the KYV process has been simplified. The National Highways Authority of India has made the changes. The Indian Highways Management Company, which operates under NHAI, recently issued guidelines for FASTag users. According to the old rules, certain documents and photographs had to be uploaded to obtain KYV. But this will no longer be the case. The process has been simplified significantly.
The aim is to increase customer convenience and ensure seamless travel on highways. Users previously worried that their FASTag would stop working if their KYV was not updated. Many people were experiencing such problems. Now, if their KYV is not updated, their services will not be immediately interrupted. This means that users will be given sufficient time and opportunity to complete the process.
