India’s most trusted car company Maruti Suzuki is now going to step into the electric era. The company’s first all-electric SUV, e-Vitara, is scheduled to launch on 2 December 2025. Design

Talking about design, the design of e-Vitara is modern and bold. It is a compact electric SUV with a length of 4,275mm, width 1,800mm, and height 1,640mm. Its 2,700mm wheelbase gives it a strong and stable look.

This SUV is equipped with a 3-in-1 electric drive system, in which motor, inverter and transmission are integrated together. This not only reduces weight but also improves performance and efficiency.

Power and Range

The first variant is 49kWh batteryy, with 144hp power and 189Nm torque from front motor. The second variant comes with 61kWh batteryy, which gives 174hp power and 189Nm torque.

All-Wheel Drive is also offered in variants with larger batteries, with an additional strength of 65hp from the rear motor. Overall get 184hp power and 300Nm torque. The top model is being described as range 500km+, making it the longest range EV of its segment.

Interior

Maruti Suzuki has made the interior of e-Vitara extremely premium. It has 10.25-inch digital driver display and 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, mounted on the twin-deck floating center console.

The same cabin offers dual-tone soft-touch materials, ambient lighting and bespoke steering wheel, providing a luxury experience. ventilated front seats, 10-way power driver seat, and 40:20:40 split rear bench make it perfect for both comfort and space. The fixed-glass sunroof and Harman-tuned audio system from above make driving even more fun.

Safety

Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara’s body is made up of more than 50% high-tensile steel, including the battery protection system. It has features standards such as 7 airbags, electronic parking brake, all-disc brakes, and tyre pressure monitoring system.

Also, it is given Level 2 ADAS, which has features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. All these together make the drive even safer.
