Salt – to taste

Coriander leaves, finely chopped – 2 tablespoons

Oil – for frying

How are rice cheese balls made?

1- First, you need to lightly mash the cooked rice in a large bowl. Then, add the boiled potatoes, coriander leaves, green chillies, red chilli powder, salt, and garam masala and mix everything well. The mixture should be firm enough to form balls. Add a little more cornflour if needed.

2- Then take a small amount of the mixture in your hand and place a small cube of cheese in the centre. Then carefully shape it into a round ball, making sure it’s completely sealed so the cheese doesn’t leak out while frying.

3- Then, dip the balls in the cornflour mixture and roll them in breadcrumbs. This will make them crispy.

4- Then, heat oil in a pan, and once it’s medium hot, add the balls. Then fry them over a low to medium heat until they are golden and crispy.

5- Remove the prepared balls and place them on a tissue paper to drain off the excess oil.

6- Then serve it with tomato ketchup and mayonnaise.
