New Delhi: Snowfall in the mountains has once again increased the intensity of winter. Mornings and evenings are also being felt in the plains of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Jammu. This is believed to be due to the snowfall that has begun in the hilly areas of Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Heavy Rainfall Expected in These States

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a low-pressure system is likely to activate in the central and eastern Bay of Bengal. Due to this, strong winds may continue to lash the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu. Heavy rain is expected in the Chennai, Chengalpattu, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Ranipet, and Viluppuram districts of Tamil Nadu.

Puducherry may also experience heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam until October 30, in Rayalaseema during October 29, and in Telangana between the 27th and 30th. Heavy rain warnings are likely to be issued for several locations in Kerala on October 27th and 28th.

Rain Warning in Odisha Also

The IMD has predicted rain in several areas of South Odisha from October 28th to 29th. A heavy rain warning has also been issued for Chhattisgarh on October 28th.

Light to moderate rain may occur at several locations in western Madhya Pradesh on October 28th. This system is expected to move northwestward. Rainfall may also occur in central Puducherry. Rain may also occur at some locations in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkim, and Tripura.
