Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift has been seen testing for the first time on the streets of India. The SUV was fully covered in spy shots, so that design changes were not seen clearly. Nevertheless, the car’s overall silhouette is the same classic Scorpio style, with the “Ready-to-Sting” Scorpion Tail design also retained. Looking back, the same old rugged design is seen as elements like roof rails, tail light housing, shark fin antenna and underbody spare wheel. However, the front part (front facia) has not yet surfaced, and this is where the biggest changes can be seen.
Design
The front of the Scorpio N Facelift is believed to have a muscular appeal with new grille design, sporty bumpers, new headlights and LED DRL signature look. Mahindra is preparing to give it a more premium and modern look. However, the “Big Daddy” robber style of the car will remain intact, which is the biggest hallmark of this SUV.
Interior
As far as the interior is concerned, Mahindra is now looking to give Scorpio N a more luxury touch. It is expected to provide a large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital TFT instrument cluster and perhaps a panoramic sunroof this time. The company can change the audio system from Sony to Herman Kardon, as we saw in the XUV700 Facelift. At the same time, second-row captain seats in the 6-seater version can be made more comfortable with ventilation features and ambient lighting systems.
Safety and Technology
Mahindra in the new Scorpio N Facelift can make ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) available in more variants. So far this feature was limited to just the top variant Z8L. This makes the driving experience even safer and smarter.

Engine and performance
Mahindra will retain the same old but powerful engine setup in this Facelift. It will be given a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine, which will deliver 200 bhp of power and 370 Nm of torque. At the same time, the 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine will generate 172 bhp of power and 370 Nm of torque. However, many experts expect Mahindra to include an XUV700 with 185 bhp and a high-power diesel engine with 450 Nm torque. The car will also have a 4WD option with manual and automatic transmission, allowing this SUV to maintain its grip on every type of road.
