Performance
The new Maruti Victoria Bio Gas SUV will have the same reliable 1.5L K15 Petrol Engine as provided in the Victoria CNG version. The only difference would be that it would be tuned to Bio Gas fuel.

This engine will not only give cleaner emission, but will also provide better fuel efficiency and lower operating cost. The company aims to make this SUV environmentally sensitive and fuel-cost affordable, so that it proves to suit future needs.

Variant
However the new Bio Gas Variant will be based on the already existing CNG version. It has an under-body gas storage tank, which is better in terms of both security and space. This setup is believed to be a direct answer to the dual-cylinder technology of Tata and Hyundai.
This variant will be introduced in the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. It will have the same 1.5L, 4-cylinder K15 naturely aspirated engine, which is tuned with some mechanical modifications so that it can perform cleaner and efficient combustion on Compressed Bio Gas (CBG).
Launch
Also, at the moment, Maruti Suzuki has not officially announced the launch date of Victoris Bio Gas Variant. However, according to reports, it will first be introduced as a working prototype in the 2025 Japan Mobility Show.

Its launching in the Indian market is possible only after 2026. Initially the company can place it in the same price range as CNG variant, i.e. between about ₹12 lakhs to ₹16 lakhs (ex-showroom).
