While “S” previously meant Sedan, now Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda described it as a symbol of “Space ” ie Space. This change is not just in name, but in complete thinking, now Lexus’s purpose is not just to build a luxury car, but to create a space that transforms the journey into experience.

Focus on innovation
Toyoda says that Toyota previously competed with European brands such as Mercedes and BMW, but now the company is focusing on creating its own identity, not duplication. Century brand
The show also introduced a new model of the Century brand — a red attractive coupe. It is completely different from the traditional Century, which until now was known as a classic and formal sedan. Toyoda reported that “Lexus is like an older brother — stable and reliable, while Toyota is the younger brother — young and full of passion. But now we needed an identity above Lexus as well, and that is Century. ”
