Engine and Power
The Triumph Speed T4 offers the same 398.15cc engine as the Speed 400, but its tune is slightly refined so that it becomes even more smooth for new riders. While the Speed 400 gives 40hp power and 37.5Nm torque, the Speed T4 generates 31hp power and 36Nm torque.
Although the power is slightly lower, it has the advantage that the engine gives great response even at low RPM and a comfortable ride in city traffic as well. In addition, this bike also offers better fuel efficiency, which is much less visible in the 400cc segment.
Mileage and Range
The Triumph Speed T4 is designed specifically for riders who also want mileage with performance. According to test results, this bike gives mileage of about 32.15 kmpl in the city and about 38.86 kmpl on the highway.
With its 13-liter fuel tank, the Speed T4 can cover a distance of about 430 kilometers in a full tank once. That is, there is no need to stop at the petrol pump repeatedly even on long trips.
Design and Comfort
The Triumph Speed T4’s design is minimalistic yet classic. Its seat height is 806mm, making it comfortable even for shorter riders. Its 180kg curb weight makes it easy to manage.

Although the Speed T4 and Speed 400 are built on the same platform, some important changes separate them. Telescopic Fork is replaced by USD Fork in Speed T4. In addition, it uses the Mechanical Cable Throttle, while the Speed 400 gets the Ride-by-Wire Throttle.
For this reason, T4 does not provide Traction Control System. Its brake pads are also different. The Speed T4 features Organic Brake Pads, while the Speed 400 uses Sintered Brake Pads. Due to these small changes, the price of Speed T4 has become even more affordable.
