In such a situation, Dhanteras will be celebrated on the 18th and Narak Chaturdashi i.e. Choti Diwali will be celebrated on the 19th. Thus, shopping for Dhanteras will be done from the afternoon of Saturday, October 18. Dhanvantari Jayanti will be celebrated on October 19. Due to Chaturdashi Tithi in the evening of this day, Choti Diwali i.e. Yam’s lamp will be lit.

Diwali puja will be held on October 20th, and women will prepare and worship Godhan on October 22nd. Bhaiya Dooj and the auspicious time for pounding Godhan will be on October 23rd. The auspicious time for shopping on Dhanteras this year will be from 1:20 pm on October 18 to 1:54 pm on October 19.
