MATRIZE-IANS Bihar Opinion Poll: The dates for the Bihar Assembly elections were announced on Monday. Voting will take place in two phases for all 243 seats in the state. The first phase will be held on November 6th and the second phase on November 11th. The results will be released on November 14th. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar himself announced the Bihar election schedule.
Before the code of conduct comes into effect, a surprising opinion poll has emerged. The opinion poll projects the NDA to have an edge and the Grand Alliance to suffer a setback. This survey, conducted by MATRIZE-IANS, shows the NDA comfortably forming a government with a full majority. The clear implication is that Nitish Kumar could become the Chief Minister of Bihar again.
