Pakistan won the toss and batted first but scored only 129 runs in 38.3 overs. Five Pakistani batsmen scored less than 10 runs. The ICC shared a video of Pakistan’s innings on social media. During the match, a Pakistani batsman tried to take a single run with a straight shot. The Bangladesh bowler dived to her left but could not stop the ball. The Pakistani batsman at the non-strike end ran and jumped past the bowler. The ICC posted this video on Instagram and wrote, “Can’t take any risk at all.” The post also quoted Akshay Kumar from the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa: “Beware of water, you are in danger from water.” (paani se baach ke rehena, apko paani se khatra hain)

Pakistani Women’s Team Sets Low Score Record
The Pakistan women’s team has made a new low score record in the Women’s ODI World Cup. They now have the lowest total against Bangladesh in a single match. Before this, the West Indies team had the lowest score against Bangladesh. In this match, Rameen Shamim scored the most runs for Pakistan with 23.
