This is very encouraging news for millions of women in Bihar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has released the second installment of ₹10,000 into the accounts of approximately 2.5 million women under the Women’s Employment Scheme. This excellent scheme has provided financial support to a large number of women.
However, many women whose accounts have not yet received the money. They are worried about why their payments have been delayed. If the amount has not yet been credited to your account, there is no need to panic. Instead, you need to take immediate action so that the amount can be credited as soon as possible.
What to do if the money hasn’t arrived in your account

If the ₹10,000 released under the Women’s Employment Scheme hasn’t been credited to your account, you must first take these important steps. First, check your bank account details. Sometimes, payments get stuck due to minor errors in the Aadhaar number, mobile number, or account number. It’s crucial to contact the relevant bank branch to clarify the situation immediately. Ensure your account is active and linked to Aadhaar.
If the issue remains unresolved, you can file a complaint with the nearest Block Office or Mahila Rojgar Yojana office. The government has also launched a helpline and online portal for this purpose, where complaints can be filed online.
This is essential to avail the benefits of this scheme

It is essential that beneficiary women fully understand these eligibility criteria. The Bihar government’s Mahila Rojgar Yojana will only benefit women who are associated with Self-Help Groups (SHGs). If a woman is not associated with a self-help group, she will need to join one immediately to benefit from this scheme. Furthermore, women must be registered on the BPL (Below Poverty Line) list of families. Women who do not have a BPL card will not be able to benefit from this scheme.
It is essential to keep these points in mind; otherwise, you will not receive the scheme’s installment. Under this scheme, installments will be transferred to women’s accounts every Friday. Therefore, you should wait until next Friday, provided all your documents are in order.
