Nissan commitment
Saurabh Vatsa, MD, Nissan Motor India, said, “We are in the country, and we will stay in the country. Where you will see a new car every six months.” This statement clearly indicates that Nissan intends to maintain its presence in the Indian market for the long term and plans to continuously impress customers with new models.

B-segment MPV
The first model, a B-segment MPV, will arrive in February 2026. However, reports suggest this car could be a rebadged version of the Renault Triber. This means it will offer the same level of space and comfort as the already reliable Renault Triber, but Nissan will refresh it with its own styling and features. It could prove to be a perfect option for small families.

Midsize SUV
However, Nissan’s midsize SUV will arrive in India in June 2026. This 5-seater SUV will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and the upcoming Renault Duster. The new model will offer customers premium design, advanced features, and an enhanced driving experience. This SUV is perfect for those who want a combination of sporty looks and everyday comfort.

C-SUV
Nissan will also introduce a 7-seater version of its C-SUV in India by January 2027. This model will feature a distinct design and features from the 5-seater, ensuring a clear distinction between the two models. It will be an excellent choice for large families and long road trips, offering both space and comfort.
