New Delhi: It’s unlikely that all farmers will receive the Rs 2,000 instalment under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana this time. The instalment deposited by the central government before Diwali will not benefit everyone. The next, 21st, instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana may be credited to accounts before Diwali.
Only small, marginal, and farmers listed under the scheme will be eligible for this benefit. Did you know that the government is not depositing funds into the accounts of some farmers? Don’t be fooled and get the necessary work done quickly. Failure to do so will result in the instalment payment being delayed. This will be a major setback for farmers.
These farmers will not receive the instalment amount.
Farmers who have not completed the necessary work under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will not receive the 21st instalment. This includes farmers who have not completed their e-KYC. If their name is listed under the scheme but the land verification is not completed, the instalment payment will be delayed. This will be a major setback for farmers. Therefore, it is important that farmers get this work done in time. Otherwise, problems will arise.
When was the 20th instalment released?
The 20th instalment of Rs. 2,000 under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was released on August 2, 2025. Since then, farmers have been waiting for the next instalment. This year, Diwali may be celebrated on November 20th. Therefore, if the instalment is released before Diwali, the government can provide the gift by October 15, 2025.
How much money per year?
Under the central government’s welfare scheme, three instalments of Rs. 2,000 each are given annually. These instalments transfer Rs. 6,000 to farmers every year. Eainstalment four months apart. Farmers’ organisations have been demanding an increase in the instalment amount for quite some time, but the government has not yet approved it.
