Weather Forecast – IMD Issues Heavy Rain Warning for Maharashtra in 25 Districts Next 24 Hours

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in view of heavy rains in Pune and its surrounding areas like Thane, Raigad and Mumbai on Monday and has advised people to leave their homes only if necessary. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected in Pune, Raigad, Satara, and Aurangabad.

Rain warning in these places

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Pune, Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ahmednagar, Beed and Latur. Moderate to heavy rainfall may occur in these areas, accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms. Apart from this, a yellow alert has been issued for Nashik, Palghar, Jalna, and Nagpur due to light rain.

The Meteorological Department issued a warning on Sunday for heavy rain in parts of Maharashtra for this week. The Meteorological Department has predicted that light to moderate rain may occur at many places in Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada on September 16.
