Rajasthan Police Recruitment Exam: The Rajasthan government has suffered a big setback from the High Court. The Rajasthan High Court has given a shocking decision regarding the Sub Inspector Recruitment 2021. The court has cancelled the Sub Inspector exam, which is being considered a big victory for the candidates. Now this has put the state government on the back foot.

SI recruitment was going on for 859 posts, in whose examination irregularities were found, for which the matter had reached the court. This matter was going on in the court for a long time. The candidates had filed a petition against the examination on 13 August 2023, while the hearing was going on.

In the High Court, the Rajasthan government was giving its argument in favour of the examination. The government had argued that the collusion of 68 candidates had come to the fore in the recruitment process. These included 54 trainee SIs, 6 selected candidates and 8 absconding accused. The state government argued that action is being taken against the culprits, but only by not cancelling the entire process.

The SOG is investigating. At the same time, the selected candidates argued in the court that they had taken the exam with transparency and honesty. Many candidates have even left their former government jobs for this recruitment. Cancelling the entire recruitment will be a blow to the future of thousands of eligible candidates.
