He said that he has been keeping a copy of the Constitution with him for the last 50 years, because it has the answer to every question. He said that I am a liberal constitutional democrat, and I believe only in the Constitution.

The debate on Sangh vs Constitution intensifies.
The opposition is putting in all its efforts for the Vice President election. India Alliance has presented this election as a fight between the Sangh and the Constitution. On this, Reddy said that this is not a fight of any state identity or Telugu pride vs Tamil pride. We are all Indian citizens. Someone was born in Tamil Nadu, and I was born in Telangana; there is no such thing as pride or competition in this.
Along with this, on Chandrababu Naidu’s stance, he said that the Telugu Desam Party was formed on the slogan of Telugu pride, but it would not be right to see the current Vice President election in that context. He clarified that he will seek support from MPs of all parties because he does not belong to any one party.
Also replied to Amit Shah’s allegation
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had made a serious comment on Reddy and called him a person with Naxalite thinking. Reddy was a part of the Supreme Court’s decision in which Salwa Judum was declared unconstitutional. On this, Reddy said – The decision given on Salwa Judum was of the Supreme Court, only I had written it. It was not my personal judgment.
If the Home Minister reads that decision, the situation will become clear. Along with this, Reddy raised the question of why Shah was silent for so many years. He said- I was here in India, then why did he not say that Naxalism did not end because of me.
