Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave indications of adding the sisters left out in the Ladli Behna Yojana
State CM Dr. Mohan Yadav recently attended a Rakshabandhan program in Bhopal ‘s Narela assembly constituency. Addressing the program, the CM said that from Bhai Dooj, Laadli sisters will get Rs 1500 every month, and in his address, he also indicated that the sisters left out of the scheme will also be included after Diwali.

He said how fortunate are those who have thousands and lakhs of sisters. When he asked his beloved sisters to raise their hands, he realised that no one was left. He said that if anyone is left, then don’t worry, it is possible that they will also get laddus after Diwali. This scheme was started in May 2023 by the previous Shivraj Singh Chauhan government. Under this scheme, it was decided to give Rs 1000 to married women between 21 and 60 years of age. In 2023, the government increased this amount to Rs 1250 on Rakshabandhan. Since then, Rs 1250 per month is being given under this scheme.

All married women of the state born after 1 January 1963 but till 1 January 2000 are considered eligible to apply in the Ladli Behna Yojana in 2023.

These sisters will not get the benefit of Ladli Behna Yojana
If women or any member of their family pays income tax, then they will not get the benefit of this scheme. – If there is a joint family and there is more than 5 acres of land, then they will not get the benefit of this scheme.
