According to the police investigation, Praveen Sharma is a businessman who sells TV cables. The man claims that he has been a BJP worker for the past 40 years. Police claimed that he had raised slogans against Gandhi Nagar Assembly MLA Arvinder Lovely.

While addressing the public, he said that his voice should reach CM Rekha Gupta. Praveen Sharma was behind the barricades and was standing in the street. From here, the police immediately caught him and removed him from there. This means that there was no lapse in the security of the VIP.
