The episode begins with Ajay and Pari visiting Shanti Niketan for Janmashtami puja. On the way, Ajay praises Pari’s friendly relationship with her parents. But Pari says that she has a friendly relationship only with her father, not with her mother. She says that her mother loves her a lot, but she has many rules. When Ajay explains the importance of a mother to her, Pari interrupts him and says that he will not understand because he is not adopted. Ajay gets a little surprised to hear this.
New Troubles at Shanti Niketan
As Ajay and Pari reach Shanti Niketan, Pari sees Ranveer waiting for her. She panics and hides near the car and asks Ranveer to leave. Ranveer leaves, but Pari’s anxiety remains.
The Magic of Sindoor and the Talk of ‘Chemistry’
After the puja, a scene unfolds that takes everyone down memory lane. Tulsi is carrying a plate of sindoor in her hand when she bumps into Mihir and the sindoor falls on him. This is the same scene when Mihir and Tulsi first met, and the same thing happened when Mihir returned. Seeing this, Naina goes to give Mihir a tissue to wipe off the sindoor, but Daksh stops her and says, “History is repeating itself, that too with chemistry.” This line was so funny to hear!
Dahi Handi and a secret
The whole family then gathers in the courtyard to celebrate Dahi Handi. While everyone is enjoying themselves, Pari gets a message from Ranveer. She sneaks out to meet him. Nandini notices Pari and follows her. Nandini sees Pari talking to a boy sitting in a car. She sees Pari’s face but not the boy’s.
Confusion of truth and lie
Nandini immediately tells this to Tulsi. Tulsi asks Pari about this. Pari gets angry and starts shouting at Nandini. She says that he was her friend, but she did not bring him inside the house because she was unsure of what Ajay would think. She also says that there are many restrictions in her in-laws’ house, so she cannot meet her friends. Tulsi agrees with Pari, but Nandini still feels that Pari is hiding something.
Tulsi discovers the lie.
At the end of the episode, Tulsi calls Pari to return the bag she had left behind. Pari is in the washroom when Ajay picks up the call. During the conversation, Ajay apologises to Tulsi that he left Pari at home that day and went straight to the meeting, unable to come inside the house. Tulsi is shocked to hear this because Pari had told her that she came home with Ajay and met him at a restaurant. Tulsi doesn’t tell Ajay anything but decides that she has to confront Pari about this lie.
