New Delhi: It is raining so much in the monsoon season, as if the god Indra himself has descended on earth. The speed of the southwest monsoon has slowed down for a few days, but the situation has returned to normal, and as a result, the condition remains very bad. Flood-like conditions prevail in many places across the country, where it is becoming difficult to even go out on the roads.

The water level in the rivers in western Uttar Pradesh has definitely decreased a bit now, but it is above the danger mark. A red alert has also been issued regarding floods. Rain was seen at many places in Delhi-NCR yesterday, due to which a drop in temperature was recorded. The mood of the weather has also deteriorated a lot in South India. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many states of the country.

Where is the rain being predicted?

If the Indian Meteorological Department is to be believed, rain is expected in many states. Meaning the next 12 hours are not going to be easy. Rain conditions can be seen at many places in Delhi-NCR, Eastern Uttar Pradesh, and  Bihar. According to IMD, heavy rains are expected in West Bengal, Odisha and Bihar.

Apart from these, heavy rains are expected in many parts of Jharkhand and Odisha. Along with this, its effect can be seen after joining the monsoon trough. Due to this, heavy rains are also expected in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana and Konkan. Heavy monsoon rains are expected in Goa. At the same time, a monsoon rain alert has been issued in many areas of Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Heavy rain warning here too for 48 hours

The next 48 hours are not going to be easy in the northeastern and southern states as well. IMD has issued an alert of heavy rains in Karnataka, Goa, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Apart from these, heavy rains can also be seen in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.

At the same time, a heavy rain warning has also been issued in Manipur, Sikkim and Puducherry. Heavy rains and thundershowers are also expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura and Mizoram. Strong winds can also be a problem in many places here.
