Alert of a rainstorm in these areas

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain accompanied by thunderstorms in many areas of Rajasthan. Heavy rains are expected in Tonk, Bhilwara, Rajsamand, Sikar, and Churu. Also, rain and thunderstorms can be seen in the Jhunjhunu district. The wind speed in these areas is expected to be 40 to 60 kilometres per hour.

An alert about heavy rain has been issued in Jaipur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, and Sirohi. In some places, caution has been advised in homes due to the possibility of thunderstorms. At the same time, thunderstorms, light rain, lightning and strong winds are expected in Bhilwara districts and surrounding areas. The wind speed is expected to be 30 to 40 kilometres per hour. IMD has issued a yellow alert for these districts.

For information, let us tell you that the maximum temperature in Rajasthan today was in Bikaner. The temperature level here was recorded at 42.3 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, starting May 13, there may be a decrease in the activities of thunderstorms and rain in all parts of western Rajasthan. In the border areas of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions of Rajasthan, the maximum temperature of 44-45 degrees has been recorded since May 14.
