Mock Drill Update – Amid the 14-day-long tension between India and Pakistan after the Pahalgam attack, mock drills will be held in all the states of the country today, i.e. on May 7, 2025. Along with this, the Indian Air Force will conduct war exercises on the Pakistan border on Wednesday and Thursday. In such a situation, will the markets remain closed today?

At what time will the mock drill take place?
Today, i.e. on 7 May, the time for the mock drill has been fixed from 4 pm to 9 pm. Mock drill will be done only for a short while. This mock drill is only to alert people.
Will there be a power cut?
There will be a blackout for a very short time in some selected places. This does not mean that there will be no electricity in your house. This is being done so that if there is an attack, the place cannot be identified due to the light. Blackouts are implemented to reduce casualties during air strikes.
Will schools and colleges remain open?
All schools, colleges, government offices and other institutions will remain open daily. The government has fixed such a time for the mock drill so that the general public does not face any problem.
