Jammu Kashmir Accident: A vehicle fell off the road into a deep gorge in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir, killing three soldiers. The gorge is said to be 700 feet deep. The incident took place around 11:30 am. The bodies of all three have been taken out of the gorge during the rescue operation, which created chaos at the spot. The deceased soldiers have also been identified.

Soldiers died in road accident

An army truck, part of the convoy from Jammu to Srinagar, met with an accident on National Highway 44 at 11:30 pm on Sunday. When it reached near Battery Chashma, it fell into a 700 feet deep gorge. Three soldiers died in this tragic accident.

Giving information, military officials said that the army, police, SDRF and local volunteers immediately started a joint rescue operation and three soldiers in the vehicle were found dead on the spot. The three deceased soldiers have been identified. They have been identified as Sepoy Amit Kumar, Sujeet Kumar and Man Bahadur. The bodies have been taken out of the gorge. The army vehicle was also badly damaged.
