Haryana CET Exam: The government has intensified preparations for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) in Haryana. All DCs will be made controlling officers for the examination. CM Naib Singh Saini has also held a meeting with all DCs in this regard. In this meeting, all preparations have been asked to be completed for the examination. 2300 examination centers have been set up in the state by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), their number may increase further.

The final report of the examination centers will also be taken soon. For this, all DCs will be asked to do a final inspection, so that if any center has to be removed or added, then they can do so and send their report to the Chief Secretary’s office. Commission Chairman Advocate Himmat Singh has held a meeting with the employees and officers of the commission regarding CET in the recent past.

Centers will also be set up in Chandigarh for CET

The commission has verified the centers which will be finalized in the state by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission. The team from Chandigarh had reached all the districts, after which the centers were determined. Now these centers will also be investigated at the district level. Along with this, verification will be done by CID. If there is any doubt about any center, then such a center will be removed beforehand. The government is planning to make centers for CET not only in Haryana but also in Chandigarh.

Lakhs of candidates will appear in the exam

In Chandigarh, 40 thousand candidates will be able to take the exam in one day. This report has been prepared on the basis of the capacity of the centers. However, 7 to 8 lakh candidates will be able to take the exam in two sessions of a day in the entire state. This can be the biggest exam in the history of the state. More than 16 lakh candidates can appear in the exam. Keeping this in mind, preparations of centers are going on, so that 8 lakh candidates can take the exam in the morning and evening sessions in a day.

Possibility of opening the portal in Navratri

Haryana Staff Selection Commission is also preparing to open the portal. It is likely that it will be opened in Navratri. Navratri has started from today, so the portal can be opened anytime. According to sources, the portal can be opened for 15 days. During this time, candidates will be able to register themselves. The commission is conducting a trial regarding the portal.

Agency not finalized

By the time the centers are finalized, the commission will make final preparations to open the portal. Sources say that it has not been decided yet which agency will conduct the examination. Haryana Staff Selection Commission has also contacted 3 agencies of Delhi regarding the examination, but has not been able to finalize any agency. The government has already argued that if Haryana Staff Selection Commission wants, it can conduct the examination itself or can give the responsibility of the examination to any other agency.
