The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has returned to power in Delhi after a long gap of 27 years. By defeating the Aam Aadmi Party,the BJP has formed its government in the 2025 assembly elections. Farmers will get ₹ 9000 in Delhi
During the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi,farmers used to get ₹ 6000 annually under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. But now Rekha Gupta’s government has increased it. The Delhi government will now give ₹ 3000 extra to the farmers in addition to ₹ 6000,that is,the farmers will get a total benefit of ₹ 9000. This step is a big relief for the farmers of Delhi,which will strengthen their financial condition.
Farmers are also getting double benefits in Rajasthan
Apart from the Delhi government,the Bhajanlal government of Rajasthan is also giving double benefits to the farmers. In Rajasthan,farmers get ₹ 6000 under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Apart from this,the state government gives an additional benefit of ₹ 2000 to the farmers. That is,like the Delhi government,the Rajasthan government is also giving additional benefits to the farmers. However,in Delhi,farmers get ₹ 3000 extra,while in Rajasthan ₹ 2000.
This decision of the Delhi and Rajasthan governments to provide double benefits to the farmers is an important step towards the economic empowerment of the farmers. In addition to the amount received under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana,the assistance given by the state government will help the farmers in their agricultural activities and increase their income.
