Weather Forecast: IMD issues heavy rains, thunderstorms, and lightning in these states until April 20th

Weather Forecast: The heatwave has started increasing in many states of the country. However, there is also a possibility of rain in some states in the month of April due to western disturbances. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP, and Rajasthan between April 18 and 21.

There is no possibility of a heat wave in Delhi in the month of April. The temperature may remain around 40 degrees. The sky will remain clear in Delhi till April 18, during which strong winds may blow.

The Meteorological Department says that light rain may be seen in the capital, Delhi, on April 19 and 20. On the other hand, IMD has issued a heatwave alert for many states until April 20.

While some states will face heat wave conditions, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning regarding rain and storms in many northern states.

IMD, in its latest forecast, has said that heat wave conditions are likely to persist in some areas of Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Konkan, Saurashtra, Kutch, and coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 5 days. According to the Meteorological Department, similar conditions will prevail in different areas of Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal during April 16–20.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a drop in temperature due to rain in the northern states, which will provide relief to the people. IMD has predicted light rain with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds over many states, including Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, from April 18–20.

There is a possibility of a partly cloudy sky in the national capital on Thursday, April 18. Delhi may receive very light rain with thunderstorms and strong winds on April 19.
