Royal Enfield: Royal Enfield has registered year-on-year growth in the domestic market with bumper sales of the Classic 350 and Hunter 350, even as its exports have suffered a severe setback. Royal Enfield experiences growth in demand by March 2024. Total sales, including domestic and exports, increased to 75,551 units, which is significantly higher than 72,235 units in March 2023. This represents a volume increase of 3,316 units. The company is planning to introduce the new model Guerrilla 450, one of the 5 new models in this financial year.

Talking about the company’s domestic sales in the last month, it increased by 10.29% on an annual basis, which was a total of 66,044 units as compared to 59,884 units sold in March 2023. However, on a month-on-month basis its sales saw a slight decline of 2.76% compared to February 2024.

Royal Enfield’s 350cc range emerged as the leader in the Indian market. The Classic 350 led the sales charts last month with sales of 25,508 units, showing a growth of 4.26% year-on-year. Despite a substantial share of 38.62%, Classic 350 sales witnessed a month-on-month decline of 9.90%.
Sales of Hunter 350 and Bullet 350
March 2024 saw demand for the Hunter 350 with sales of 15,702 units, a growth of 45.07% year-on-year and 29.53% month-on-month. In comparison, the Bullet 350 suffered year-on-year declines of 5.91% and 19.23%. Sales declined month-on-month. A total of 11,262 units were sold last month.

Additionally, Meteor 350 saw a significant growth in sales, growing by 44.31% year-on-year and 10.31% on a month-on-month basis. This bike sold 8,963 units last month.
Sales of above 350cc motorcycles
Other bikes from Royal Enfield included the Himalayan with 2,216 units, the 650 twins with 2,175 units and the Super Meteor with 218 units. Only the 650 Twins saw a year-on-year and month-on-month increase in sales in March 2024.
