Navratri Ashtamai 2024: The Navratri festival has special significance in Sanatan Dharma. The festival of Navratri is celebrated twice every year. One in Chaitra month and the other in Ashwin month. Chaitra Navratri was started on April 9 and will end on April 17. Maa Kalratri is worshiped on the seventh day of Chaitra Navratri.

It is believed that the story of Maa Kalratri must be recited during the puja on the seventh day of Navratri. By doing this, all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled. Tomorrow, i.e., April 16th, is Ashtami Tithi.

On this day, the eighth form of Mother Goddess Mahagauri is worshipped. On the day of Ashtami, along with the worship of Kul Devi, Mata Kali, Dakshin Kali, Bhadrakali, and Mahakali are also worshipped.

Mata Annapurna is also worshiped on this day. On the day of Ashtami, people worship girls and feed them a hearty meal. On the day of Ashtami, we have to follow some things. We have to avoid some mistakes.

Do not do this work even by mistake on the day of Ashtami.

There is a belief that one should not sleep till late on the day of Ashtami, even by mistake. On this day, one should wake up early in the morning, take a bath, and recite Mata Rani. Even if you have not observed a fast on this day, you must take a bath early in the morning and do puja.

Do not  wearing black-coloured clothes to worship on this day. Havan must be performed after puja on Ashtami Day. Ashtami worship is considered incomplete without performing Havan.

While performing Havan on this day, keep in mind that the Havan material should not come out of the pond. The mind should be completely calm while worshiping on this day. you can get your desire wishes by worshiping Goddess Durga from true sprit.
